Ministry with KidCity7

The Lord has been continuing to move with our outreach to Ruskin Heights with KidCity7. Currently, we have been able to ask close friends to join us in ministry here. The Lord seems to be calling upon close friends here to work together. We all have been feeling the Lord’s emphasis on healing families and doing ministry together rather than continuing to think individually.

Within Ruskin Heights, the Lord has particularly put one family on my heart. For confidentiality’s sake, I will call her Camille. Camille has a family over eight children from at least three different men. Her most recent boyfriend was abusive and has recently disappeared from the household, leading her to raise all of these children on her own again. My heart has been burdened in prayer for her and for her family. Every time we pass by her house to pick up the kids to take them to the park where we do ministry, I always tell her that we’re praying for her.

The Lord has been continuing to open the door to assist her & her family. When her baby is awake, she has actually come down to the park & listened to our short messages herself. Please continue to pray for open doors with her & with the other parents from other children Pray that the Lord would not only save the children, but the parents through their children.

Ministry with Orphan Justice Center

Our outreach at the local foster care facility has been smooth. We have currently been playing kickball with the temporary housing facility (which houses kids only in the foster care facility for a month or so) and with younger children that have been their longer term on opposite weeks (each every other week).

Most of the children are very well behaved and very open to us. Because we are working with a secular facility, we are trying to carefully introduce prayer & hope for more open doors with sharing the gospel in the future. Especially since most of the centers have been shut off from the world for over a year.

Prayer Requests

• Pray for continued guidance with these ministries.

• Pray for open hearts from the kids.

• Pray for them to feel & know the love of God.

• Pray for my finances as I continue to support raise this summer.

Thanksgiving

• Continued good housing where I live.

• God moving in ministry here.
